Delivery driver receives £2,900 compensation for dog bite
The incident
Our client was involved in an incident where they were bitten by a dog during their round of deliveries.
Working as a delivery driver, our client delivered goods to the recipient’s home where the owner’s dog then attacked him.
The dog bit our client’s leg, causing a bite wound. Our client naturally sought compensation for this attack, which is where we came in to help.
The aftermath
The bite wound to the leg caused scarring.
However, the incident caused little to no long-term impacts, which is positive.
The case and outcome
The case was handled by Joshua Whittam – a personal injury lawyer.
The claim was formulated based on the initial attack, which has led to scarring on our client’s leg.
The client received a settlement of £2900 to compensate for the injuries he sustained as a result of the incident, and the scarring that occurred.
With his settlement, the client should receive no future losses, and he has been able to recover well.
