Who am I

I’m a Partner and Personal Injury solicitor, supporting clients and their families after serious and catastrophic injury.

I have expertise in cases involving spinal injuries, brain injuries, amputations and complex multiple fractures, as well as significant experience in cases involving fatalities and bringing claims on behalf of the dependants. Throughout my career, I’ve achieved well in excess of £50m in compensation for her clients. I have a real passion for client care, implementing as much support as possible to try and put clients’ lives back on track. I also have a keen interest in working with charities, including those that support victims of road collisions, as well as charities specialising in brain injury and amputation.

In addition, I recently worked on a case where my client John secured a substantial settlement, giving him long-term financial security and continued access to advanced prosthetics, specialist rehabilitation and tailored support following a life-changing below-hand amputation. After a workplace injury led to serious complications and the loss of his hand, we helped him obtain a transformative prosthetic trial that restored independence and confidence. Today, he has rebuilt his life with remarkable determination, returning to sport, achieving a world record for lifting the heaviest weight using a prosthetic, and supporting other amputees demonstrating what’s possible with the right legal and rehabilitation support in place.

Why I do this work

I’m passionate about making a difference in my clients’ lives, at a time when they are often at their most vulnerable. Each case represents a real person with whose life has been affected and whilst I cannot change what has happened, I’m motivated to work to make sure they are heard and supported.

How I work with clients

Every client is an individual with different goals and I hope to be able to adapt to client needs.

Outcomes

ANON

Our client suffered a spinal cord injury following a collision with a HGV (client was a cyclist). Imogen helped the client and their family through the rigorous process. Due to the client’s injuries, rehabilitation and case management was heavily involved.

Prior to settlement, we secured a large interim payment which enabled the client to buy a home more suitable to his complex needs. The case settled at a Joint Settlement Meeting for £8.23 million.

ANON

A settlement helped our client find a new home after injury as well providing him access to good quality prosthetics which enabled him to return to work. The claimant suffered injury to his right hand following during his work as a delivery driver.

Unfortunately, a series of complications resulted in the need for the limb to be amputated. The claimant had sustained a previous injury to the hand. The defendants strongly disputed a link between the accident at work and the amputation throughout the case. An interim payment was secured during the life of the case to allow the claimant to trial prosthetics.

The trial proved to be fully very successful. The case was settled shortly before the matter was to be listed for trial. The claimant received a total damages award of £900,000 at a JSM in September 2025.
