Who am I
As Managing Director, I lead our Medical Negligence department, which is built on enviable legal talent that deals with more medical negligence claims than any other firm in the UK. I lead a team of expert lawyers who help people that have suffered injuries through medical negligence or faulty medical products.
I joined Fletchers in 2010, originally as part of the serious injury department, where I specialised in catastrophic brain, spinal cord, and severe orthopaedic injuries. My career has developed through a range of leadership roles, leading me to where I am today.
I’m committed to supporting the growth and expansion of our medical negligence team. It’s important to me that we continue providing access to world class lawyers and ensuring the people we support have an excellent experience with us.
What I specialise in
Why I do this work
I have a genuine passion for supporting people who have experienced negligent medical treatment and providing them with the highest standard of care. That means not only securing a successful outcome but also helping clients access the wider support and rehabilitation they need.
My motivation is also personal. I saw my cousin live for many years with severe cerebral palsy and witnessed the incredible care and love from his family, often in very challenging circumstances and without the support of a legal claim. That experience drives me to do everything I can to help others in similar situations, easing some of those challenges and making a meaningful difference in their lives.
How I work with clients
I try to be pastoral. I take time to listen to people and provide reassurance and support. I encourage people to share their concerns, with the aim of helping them feel more at ease after each conversation.
I also believe home visits are incredibly valuable. They help build trust and give me a clearer understanding of a client’s day-to-day life — from their surroundings to the impact their injury has on them and their family. This insight is vital in building the strongest possible case and ensuring their needs are fully understood.

LOAD MOREWhat I enjoy about working at Fletchers
I find great joy and satisfaction in the home I’ve found at Fletchers, progressing from a paralegal to Managing Director over the past 16 years. The supportive culture here is a real strength, with a strong focus on teamwork, development and progression for everyone in the business. We make sure that every person here feels part of the team.
As a specialist firm, it’s rewarding to see everyone working towards the same goal of delivering excellent client service — and being able to lead and continue to grow that is incredibly fulfilling.

Outside of work
I love spending time with my family, and we particularly enjoy camping and getting outdoors together. I’m a fan of most sports and have played for various amateur football teams over the years.
I also volunteer for my church and enjoy giving back to the community. At home, I’m known for a good quiz – often putting my children to the test at the dinner table, which they seem to enjoy!
