Who am I
I’m a Principal Associate and Team Leader with over 20 years of experience in clinical negligence law. I specialise in representing patients and families affected by substandard medical care, with a focus on securing answers, accountability, and meaningful outcomes for clients.
Notably, I’ve also acted in high-profile litigation, including complex group and multi-party actions, where attention to detail, preparation, and client care are critical to achieving successful outcomes
What I specialise in
Why I do this work
My motivation to specialise in clinical negligence law is rooted in a deep commitment to ensuring that patients are heard, supported, and treated with dignity when medical care falls short. Over the years experience, I’ve seen the profound physical, emotional, and financial impact that negligent treatment can have, not only on individuals but also on their families. This understanding has driven me to advocate for those who often feel powerless in the face of complex healthcare systems.
I have a particular interest in complex and high-value clinical negligence cases, including birth injuries, neurological and spinal injuries, amputations, and cases involving delayed diagnosis or surgical error. I also have experience in fatal claims and cases involving long-term care needs, ensuring clients’ future requirements are fully considered.
What continues to inspire me is the opportunity to help clients find answers, achieve accountability, and secure the support they need to rebuild their lives. I’m equally motivated by the potential for this work to contribute to wider change by highlighting systemic issues and improving patient safety so that others do not have to endure similar experiences.
How I work with clients
I take a client centred approach, recognising that behind every clinical negligence case is a person whose life has been profoundly affected. I prioritise listening and take the time to understand not only what has happened medically, but also how it has impacted my client’s daily life, independence, and future. This insight is essential to building a strong case that reflects the full extent of their experience.
I’m tenacious in pursuing answers and holding the other side to account, ensuring cases progress with purpose and clarity. At the same time, I aim to remain approachable and supportive, providing honest advice, regular updates, and reassurance throughout what can often be a difficult and emotional process. My goal is to combine legal expertise with genuine empathy so clients feel both represented and personally supported.

Outside of work
I’m a mother of two young children and enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, working out regularly, and going to concerts. I also love to travel and am working my way through a personal bucket list. My weekends are often spent balancing family life as a “social secretary” for my children and enjoying quality time with loved ones.
