Long-standing claim against a GP for delay in diagnosing haemochromatosis, settled at a settlement meeting. The settlement enables the Claimant to purchase aids and equipment to assist with daily living.

Claim involving a young child left with profound disabilities due to hospital negligence. A full admission of liability was secured, enabling pursuit of a significant interim payment to fund specialist equipment, additional care and private therapies, including hydrotherapy and physiotherapy, with housing needs under consideration.

Representation of a family at an inquest into the unexpected death of a dementia patient in a care home. The Coroner issued a Prevention of Future Deaths report following findings around swallowing risks. A successful civil claim against the care home followed, providing accountability and answers for the family.

Outside of work, I enjoy tending to my garden, where I grow my own flowers, fruit and vegetables. Gardening provides a welcome balance to my professional life and reflects my patience, care, and attention to detail. I’m also an NHS Volunteer Responder. During the Covid pandemic, I volunteered at local vaccination centres and still continue to help with community response tasks, including check-in calls and providing support to those who need it.
