Miriam Hall

I’m the Managing Director of Operational Excellence at Fletchers. Before joining Fletchers, I spent over 13 years as an operations consultant.

My practice was underpinned by gaining a deep understanding of how key processes worked and aligning people to take swift action on the potential we’d revealed together. For several years, I also had a key role in Learning and Development function and had responsibility for Responsible Business.

I grew up in the hills a little south of Manchester. At primary school, my best friend was a girl whose family had been profoundly impacted by a birth injury. We were about 10 years old when the settlement came through, I saw how much that improved the quality of life, not just of my friend’s sister, but of the whole family. Whenever my team and I are looking at how we can harness the firm’s enormous collective experience to further improve our case strategy or to try and reduce the time it takes for a case to resolve, I think of what that money meant to that family and how if we could help just one more family in that situation, get them that justice they deserve even one month sooner and what that would mean for them.

Each group has its own superpowers that contribute to Fletchers amazing mission. Our teams bring brilliance, insight and a passion to make a difference and have a positive impact to everything we do.

My absolute favourite thing about working at Fletchers is the incredible people. It’s a profound privilege to work with so many absolute experts who really know their stuff and always have time and energy to contribute to making things better. I’ve worked across over 50 different firms over the course of my career, and I’ve never been anywhere that even gets close to Fletchers’ supporting and lovely culture. Everyone is just so nice.

I live in London with my fiancée and two loveable feline menaces. I love walking up out on the hills, watching my beloved Blackburn Rovers and the Lionesses, reading sci-fi and brooding early 20th century novels, and crafting things like clothes and miniatures.
