Who am I

I’m the Director of Business Development and I’m responsible for delivering our marketing and business development strategy.

I work closely with colleagues, clients, and community partners, strengthening the Fletchers market position while staying true to our mission: helping more clients rebuild their lives after serious, life-changing events.

I have 30 years of experience, including 27 years in the legal sector. Over that time, I’ve built strong expertise in personal injury and medical negligence. I understand the legal landscape well and use that insight to develop marketing campaigns that connect with clients and the communities we work in.

Why I do this work

I’ve always been drawn to work that has a real human impact. What motivates me about this sector is that behind every enquiry, case or conversation is a person or family often going through one of the hardest moments in their lives.

I care about making sure people can access the right help, at the right time, particularly when life has taken an unexpected turn. While my role sits outside of legal delivery, I care deeply about the work we do because it can genuinely change outcomes for people and families.

What continues to motivate me is helping shape how we support clients, strengthen relationships and ensure more people can access the help they need when it matters most.

My team

What’s special about our team is the mix of different skills and perspectives. We bring together expertise across marketing, business development, communications, digital, events, partnerships, social media and data.

What I enjoy about working at Fletchers

I joined Fletchers because it felt like a business with real ambition and the opportunity to help shape something meaningful. Since joining, it’s been a busy and rewarding experience. There’s a huge variety to the role – from brand, digital and communications through to partnerships, business development and supporting growth across the business. No two days are the same, which keeps things interesting. What I enjoy most is the combination of purpose and challenge. The work matters because of the impact it has on people and families. But there’s also real complexity and opportunity in helping evolve the business and how we support clients. One of the things I’ve valued most is the people around me. There’s a willingness to help, share ideas and step in when things get busy. You’re trusted, encouraged to bring ideas forward and there’s a genuine sense that people want each other to do well.

Outside of work

Outside of work, life is mostly centred around family, getting outdoors and keeping busy. I have three daughters, all adults now, so life looks a little different these days. Although the child of the house is now definitely our dog, Poppy. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me out walking with Poppy, catching up with family or friends, or planning the next trip away. I also love sport, particularly women’s football.
