Who am I
I knew from a young age that I wanted to become a lawyer, although I did not initially know which area of law I wanted to pursue. That changed in 2007 when I began working on serious injury claims and saw firsthand the impact that these cases can have on people’s lives. From that point, I knew I wanted to build my career helping those who had suffered serious injuries and supporting them through some of the most difficult periods in their lives.
Throughout my career, I have developed experience across a wide range of litigation work before specialising in serious injury cases. I particularly enjoy the challenge of complex claims and helping clients navigate difficult situations with practical advice and support. I have always valued building long term relationships and taking the time to understand what is important to each individual client.
What I specialise in
- Brain injury claims
-
Employers liability claims
- Orthopaedic claims
- Road traffic accident claims
- Serious injury claims
Why I do this work
I enjoy being able to support people when they need help the most. Early in my career I worked on fraud and low velocity impact claims and enjoyed the challenge they brought, but I found I was missing the personal connection that comes with serious injury work. I realised that supporting individuals whose lives had been changed by injury was where I wanted to focus my career.
I build strong relationships with my clients and feel a genuine responsibility to do everything I can to achieve the best possible outcome for them. Every case is different because every client is different and helping someone move forward after a difficult experience remains the most rewarding part of my role.
How I work with clients
I am a calm and approachable person, and I always want clients to know that I am available when they need me. I believe communication is one of the most important parts of any claim, so I make sure clients understand what is happening at each stage and feel comfortable asking questions along the way. I aim to build genuine relationships with clients and support them throughout what can often be a challenging and emotional process.

Outcomes
ANON
I acted on a long standing and highly complex motorcycle claim where my client suffered serious cognitive and physical injuries. Over two and a half years, I spoke with him regularly, sometimes several times a week, and supported him through a number of challenges along the way. During the claim, I secured a £70,000 interim payment to allow him to purchase a new caravan home after his previous one was flooded, and we ultimately achieved a settlement of £425,000.
ANON
I represented a client with complex injuries whose recovery was further impacted by psychological difficulties and Covid. Although the matter appeared likely to proceed to trial, negotiations in the final days before the hearing resulted in a settlement of just under £170,000, avoiding the additional stress and uncertainty of going to court.
ANON
I supported an 82 year old client who sustained life changing elbow and shoulder injuries following a fall in a hospital car park. Liability was denied for three years before proceedings led to a full admission and a settlement of £110,000, which enabled adaptations to improve her comfort and quality of life.
ANON
I represented a client who sustained permanent bowel injuries that had a significant impact on his life. Following settlement, he was able to purchase a home and move out of his family home, helping him gain greater independence and move forward positively.
ANON
I acted for a motorcyclist who received a £220,000 settlement following serious injuries. The outcome enabled him to adapt his business and continue using his skills in a different way, allowing him to continue building a successful future.
AB v Anon
I represented a client with a serious leg injury whose settlement allowed him to begin looking for a more suitable home that would better meet his needs and allow him and his wife to share a bedroom again. He also hoped to purchase a motor tricycle so he could return to something he enjoyed and get back on the road.
