Mia Burke

I’m a Solicitor with 2 years post qualification experience and specialise in clinical negligence claims. I work within the Group Actions team at Fletchers supporting a group of clients who have been affected by the same negligence.

I have always wanted to work in an area of law that enables me to use my knowledge and skills to help others achieve justice. I love working in clinical negligence as it is a very interesting area of law and you learn something new everyday.

I would describe myself as professional but also very down to earth and approachable. I want to ensure that my clients feel that they can raise any questions about their case, big or small. The claims process can be daunting and for many it is their first experience at making a claim, therefore, I believe that one of the most important parts of the claim is building a rapport with my clients and being a listening ear throughout. My biggest goal is to make sure that my clients achieve the outcome that they deserve.

I work with a very talented team of individuals who all bring different levels of expertise to the team, all of my team are very supportive and motivated to succeed and provide the best possible outcome for our clients.

I joined Fletchers in October 2025 and have enjoyed my time here so far. There are a variety of cases to get involved in and you have the chance to build on a specific area of clinical negligence should you wish to. I work with a fantastic team of lawyers and paralegals who are all very supportive and motivated to provide the best service for our clients. There are so many opportunities available at Fletchers and I am very excited to see where my career at Fletchers takes me.

I love to travel, visit different parts of the world and experience new cultures. In June 2025 I climbed the Great Wall of China!
