I’m the PR Manager at Fletchers, focusing on our serious injury cases. I have 11 years’ experience as a journalist, working across all levels of the media from local publications through to national news outlets. This has given me a strong understanding of storytelling, audience engagement and how to communicate complex stories clearly and effectively.

I’ve always been a passionate storyteller, so sharing the incredible journeys of our clients is a privilege I’m immensely proud of. Our clients have experienced things that no person should ever go through, and their voices are incredibly powerful. As a PR Manager for our Serious Injury clients, I dedicate myself to ensuring they feel heard and have the platform to speak up or demand changes. This could be calling for legal reforms to better protect vulnerable road users or raising awareness of dangerous workplace issues. Whether it’s helping a grieving family secure justice for their loved one or proving that you can still follow your dreams after a serious injury; the courage, candour and resilience of our clients always shine through.

Every serious injury is different, and so I tailor my support to the needs of each individual client. For some, the prospect of sharing what they have been through is deeply triggering or too personal. For others, speaking out is a vital part of their recovery. Fletchers’ PR team is on hand around the clock to support clients with media exposure and to ensure they feel protected and supported throughout and after their legal case.

Fletchers Solicitors represents the largest group of families impacted by the Southport attack in July 2024. Since the start of the public inquiry into the atrocity, Fletchers have sought to show how the attack impacted the young girls who survived but were left seriously injured or traumatised. Earlier this year, I helped our clients speak out about the inconsistent psychological and emotional support they have received, almost two years on. The coverage on this issue caught was picked up by the Victims Commissioner who pledged to raise it with ministers, and by local authorities responsible for caring for these families. The result has been that those same families are now having vital conversations around how victims of major incidents and terrorism should be treated going forward.
