Who am I

I’m an Associate Solicitor and Team Leader with over fourteen years’ experience working solely in claimant clinical negligence. I specialise in complex, high-value medical negligence cases involving life-changing harm. My work focuses on securing outcomes that safeguard clients’ futures, ensuring they have the rehabilitation, care and financial support they need.

I’m proud to work at the highest level of medical negligence litigation, supporting people who have been seriously harmed by failures in their medical treatment. While we cannot change what has happened, we can make life easier by securing the resources and support that allow clients to rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.

Why I do this work

I specialise in catastrophic clinical negligence work because it gives me the opportunity to help people at the most difficult time in their lives. My cases often involve severe and life-changing injuries, and I am driven by the ability to secure outcomes that protect clients’ futures. We cannot undo the harm they have suffered, but we can make a meaningful difference by ensuring they have the support, rehabilitation and financial stability they need to move forward.

How I work with clients

I am committed to maintaining a high level of client service, being available, providing clear advice and keeping regular contact throughout the case. I prioritise early home visits to understand clients’ needs, build trust and ensure we are working towards the right outcomes. I take pride in the strong relationships I build, reflected in the feedback I receive from clients who value my support, dedication and kindness over many years of litigation.

Outcomes

ANON

I represented a widow whose husband died after the Ambulance Service gave incorrect advice during an emergency call about severe bleeding from an open wound. Despite repeated calls and a deterioration in his condition, the response was delayed and crucial advice to elevate the leg was not given. Partial admissions were made, and I secured a £200,000 settlement covering bereavement damages, funeral costs, dependency and loss of companionship.

ANON

I acted for a widow whose husband suffered a 12-year delay in the diagnosis of kidney failure, despite abnormal renal function tests dating back to 2003. By the time he was diagnosed in 2015, he was in end-stage renal failure and later passed away. Following a complex investigation, including GMC criticism of the GP care provided, I secured a £120,000 settlement to acknowledge the missed opportunities and provide the family with closure.

ANON

I represented a child who developed cerebral palsy due to an admitted delay in delivery at birth. The case settled for a £4.7 million lump sum, along with substantial annual payments to cover lifelong care and case management. During the approval process, we secured an additional £512,000 after a change in the law allowed the child to claim for lost years. The final award ensures the family has the support, specialist care and suitable accommodation they need for the future.

My team

I work within a highly supportive and collaborative team, and we consistently receive excellent feedback from clients. We share knowledge, support one another and combine our strengths to deliver the highest standard of care. Our team is recognised for its compassion, technical expertise and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes.

Outside of work

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking and campervan adventures with my partner and our dog, Marley. Exploring new places and spending time outdoors helps me recharge and stay grounded.
