Georgia Briscoe

I am the Managing Director of Medical Law Services and a Fletchers Partner, with over 20 years of experience as a solicitor specialising in medical negligence.

Throughout my career, I have combined my legal expertise with leadership and strategic vision, playing a key role in shaping Fletchers’ legal services and driving growth. I am responsible for overseeing delivery of performance and strategy of the Medical Law Services business, ensuring we provide efficient, high-quality legal services that support the medical negligence and serious personal injury sectors.

My career at Fletchers has been marked by significant achievements. I initially served as Director of Clinical Negligence for seven years, leading a highly successful Clinical Negligence Team. I then moved into the role of Director of Legal Strategy and Operations, where I drove operational change and managed key projects across the business. This ultimately helped lay the groundwork for the creation of Medical Law Services, a successful business unit within the Fletchers Group that I now lead and continue to develop.

I’m passionate about identifying areas for growth and driving positive change within the legal sector.

Throughout my career, I’ve particularly enjoyed seeing innovative ideas come to fruition and making improvements that have a meaningful impact across the organisation. I take pride in helping to create a culture of continuous improvement, while ensuring that the services we provide remain focused on delivering the best possible experience for our clients and ultimately claimants.

Over my years at Fletchers, I’ve had the privilege of taking on several senior leadership roles, each one an opportunity to contribute to the business in a different way and to play a part in shaping where our future.  I’m at my best when I’m spotting ways to do things better and turning those ideas into real, lasting change. There’s a particular satisfaction in seeing something you believed in come to life and knowing it’s made a genuine difference, both for the business and for the claimants who are at the heart of everything we do.

Leadership is a privilege, what I find most rewarding is seeing those within my teams develop, find their confidence, take on a challenge they weren’t sure they were ready for, and realise just how capable they really are.

Away from the office, my world revolves around family and friends, including two teenagers and two dogs, so life is pretty busy. I love to travel and always need something exciting in the diary to look forward to.
