I’m a catastrophic injury solicitor who works on complex, on high value cases involving clients who have suffered life-changing injuries including traumatic brain injury, amputation, paraplegia, complex orthopaedic nerve damage and fatalities. Supporting and helping others through these challenges is a key part of who I am.

I also work closely with our in-house Court of Protection team, supporting clients who lack capacity and require a deputy. This often means being involved in clients’ lives at a particularly vulnerable time, and I place great importance on building trusted relationships with both clients and their families.

I feel privileged to use my knowledge and experience in the law to support people at some of the most vulnerable points in their lives. It’s an honour to stand alongside those who have suffered life-changing injuries and help them rebuild their lives.

My strong sense of fairness and justice drives me in this work, and I am committed to fighting for the best possible outcomes for my clients.

I understand that my clients are often facing one of the most difficult times in their lives. The legal process can feel overwhelming, so I believe it’s essential to approach every case with empathy, kindness and understanding.

It’s important that my clients feel reassured and confident, and trust that I’m fighting their corner.

Our client who was involved in a workplace accident when a container was lowered onto his left foot. He suffered a significant and complex crush injury to his foot and underwent an amputation. He is a dog lover who sadly had to rehome his dog due to his injuries but following rehabilitation and provision of orthotics / equipment, he is now able to enjoy life with his dog again.

A settlement comprising of a £1.75 million lump sum with additional lifelong annual payments following a spinal cord injury.

I joined Fletchers Solicitors as a paralegal after completing my studies. I later secured a training contract and qualified as a solicitor in March 2018, before being promoted to Associate in July 2022. During my time here, I’ve been encouraged to explore different areas of law to find the right specialism, ensuring I’m in a role where I can do my very best work.

I now specialise in serious injury, supporting clients who have suffered life-changing injuries, including traumatic brain injury, amputation, spinal injuries, complex orthopaedic injuries, nerve damage and fatalities. Fletchers have always promoted a strong work ethic and a drive to succeed, while also valuing the different routes people take into the profession.

I truly value the work I do day to day; it’s complex and rewarding. There is a strong sense of fulfilment in my role which comes from achieving outcomes for clients as well as supporting colleagues and mentoring those at the start of their careers.

Family is a big part of who I am, and while being a working mum can be challenging at times, I find it incredibly rewarding. With the support of my husband, I balance my role as a mum to my son alongside being a wife, daughter and sister.

I’m passionate about giving back to the community and have been involved in initiatives such as the Scouting movement and, more recently, setting up a junior triathlon club to help young people stay active.

Sport has always been an important part of my life – from playing canoe polo at university to completing Ironman UK in support of Headway Central Lancashire. I love being outdoors, and my husband often says I’m happiest when I’m up on the fells in the Lake District.
