I supervise a team of solicitors and paralegals, providing guidance and support to ensure cases progress smoothly and consistently meet high standards.

I initially began my career in personal injury law in a temporary role after university but quickly discovered a genuine passion for helping clients. Since then, I’ve continued to develop my career in this area, driven by the opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives.

I do this work because I see the real difference it can make for clients and their families. The people we support are often faced with sudden, life-changing situations through no fault of their own and being able to help guide and support them during that time is incredibly important to me.

I’m committed to delivering excellent client care, adapting my approach to suit each client’s preferences – whether that’s how often we meet or stay in touch. I like to make sure every client feels supported and knows I’m always there when they need me.

My client, suffered a traumatic brain injury along with spinal injuries that left them paralysed from the waist down. Tragically, his parents both later died in difficult circumstances. During this time, we arranged a comprehensive care package with the support of an experienced case manager. We also secured funding that enabled him to purchase land next to his sister’s home and build a fully adapted property. This allowed him to live independently with the support he needs, while remaining close to his family, providing reassurance, stability and a sense of security for everyone involved.

My client was injured in a workplace accident when equipment provided by her employer fell and crushed her. Responsibility for the accident was strongly disputed throughout the claim, but I took a determined and thorough approach, carefully reviewing the evidence to challenge the defence. We arranged for specialist medical input, including from a spinal surgeon and a psychologist, and ensured everything was done with the support of an interpreter so my client could fully engage and provide detailed evidence. We secured a six-figure settlement, helping my client move forward with peace of mind.

I handled this claim and secured a substantial package of professional support for my client. Despite the defendant arguing that my client was partly to blame and raising concerns about life expectancy, I took a robust approach and was able to negotiate a settlement of £400,000 -double the initial offer.

The case was complex, particularly in relation to liability. Liability was denied and the client had no memory of the incident. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) were involved. Despite the challenges of the case, we were able to secure a substantial settlement of almost £2.7M.

My client was injured in a cycling accident, sustaining a serious crush injury to their ankle. By engaging early with the other side, we secured funded physiotherapy, which supported their recovery and helped them return to full-time work and running. We obtained orthopaedic and psychological evidence to fully understand the impact of the injury, and successfully secured a five-figure settlement, including compensation for increased future commuting costs.

I secured a successful outcome for a client had suffered a serious spinal injury, despite them having no memory of the accident. I enjoy the complexity and variety of the work – no two days are the same. Since joining Fletchers, I’ve progressed to Partner and Head of Serious Injury, which reflects both the opportunities for growth and the supportive environment here.

Family is a big part of my life. With two teenagers and two dogs, I’m often out walking or cheering from the sidelines at football and rugby matches.

In my spare time, I enjoy walking, running and reading. I also love spending time with friends – especially discovering the joy of daytime clubbing (for the oldies!)
