Who am I
I’m a Solicitor and Team Leader at Fletchers with over 19 years of experience. I specialise in orthopaedic, genecology, GP cases, delay in diagnosing cancer, kidney issues, surgical negligence and pressure sores.
What I specialise in
Why I do this work
I do this work to support clients through what can be one of the most difficult times in their lives, helping them deal with the impact of medical mistakes that can be life changing. I believe every client deserves to be heard and supported throughout their journey.
These cases can also lead to wider improvements in healthcare, helping to prevent similar situations in the future. It’s a role I find incredibly rewarding.
How I work with clients
A huge strength of mine is being a great listener. To take the time to understand my client’s concerns and make sure they feel heard and supported. I explain complex matters in clear, straightforward terms, so clients feel confident and reassured.
My team
My team brings a range of strengths that support our clients throughout their case. Alexander, as a paralegal, is often the first point of contact and has excellent client care skills, building strong, trusting relationships. Matthew is equally approachable and supportive, helping to answer queries and ensuring cases continue to progress smoothly when I’m unavailable.
What I enjoy about working at Fletchers
My career at Fletchers has been fantastic. I’ve had the opportunity to grow and progress, with clear pathways for development across the business—not just as a lawyer. I feel valued in my role and take pride in making a positive difference for both our clients and the firm.
There are a variety of people within the business bringing different levels of experience and perspectives, and there is some exceptional talent across the teams. The work is varied and often complex, but no matter the value of a claim, every client receives the same high level of care and support. The culture here is fantastic, and as a working mum, the flexibility and understanding I’ve received have been invaluable.
“I believe every client deserves to be heard and supported throughout their journey.”

Outside of work
Outside of work, I enjoy following motorsport, particularly British Touring Cars and Formula 1 -something I share with my husband. I also love travelling, going for walks and spending quality time on family days out with my children.
I’m a keen reader, and although finding the time can be difficult with children, I’ve recently rediscovered my love of books with a Kindle and have read 23 so far this year! I’m also passionate about mental health and hope to make a positive difference wherever I can.
