Brits’ most liked and feared professions revealed

Being approachable and accessible when working in a customer-facing role is paramount, however this isn’t always the case as many of us have experienced.

Our latest research suggests chefs and bartenders are the most feared professions in the UK with the ‘Gordon Ramsay effect’ blamed for fiery tempers and their often unapproachable nature.

However, encouragingly three quarters of Britons feel healthcare workers are the most likeable professionals – this is important when putting patients at ease before a check-up or procedure. An anxious or stressed customer can lead to miscommunications and even in some cases problems such as medical negligence
